Platform overview

Aunsight Data Services is a data management and processing platform built by Aunalytics. It gives organizations the tools to acquire, process, and deliver data — and to build, implement, and support repeatable industry-specific data solutions at scale.

What it does

At its core, Aunsight Data Services does three things:

Acquires data from client source systems — databases, file systems, cloud storage, and document repositories — using a lightweight Sync Agent installed in the client's environment. Data flows into the platform on a schedule or continuously, in structured or unstructured form, with unstructured files stored in managed Local Buckets for downstream processing including AI and vector search workloads.

Processes and delivers data through configurable pipelines. Structured data moves through dataflows and workgraphs into warehouses, processed models, and deliverable models ready for consumption. Unstructured data — documents, files, and similar content — is stored in managed buckets and made available for downstream processing, including AI and vector search workloads.

Delivers data to consumers via accelerated warehouses, a Consumption API, Daybreak (Aunalytics' client-facing web app), and LLM-ready Intelligent Data Warehouse (IDW) models purpose-built for AI applications.

Solutions

The platform is built around the concept of solutions — packaged, installable, and configurable data products designed for specific industries. Rather than building one-off pipelines for each client, Aunalytics develops solutions once and deploys them repeatedly. Each client installation maps their own source data to the solution's input model, and the platform handles the processing and delivery.

Solutions are versioned and managed through a draft/publish workflow, making it straightforward to develop, test, and roll out updates across all client installations.

Intelligent Data Warehouse (IDW)

The IDW is Aunalytics' approach to delivering data that is ready for both traditional analytics and modern AI applications. An IDW solution produces a structured, semantically rich data model that is:

  • Structured and consistent — standardized schemas across clients in the same industry, making cross-client analysis and solution reuse practical
  • AI and LLM-ready — organized to support vector search, embedding generation, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) workflows
  • Queryable at scale — delivered to accelerated warehouses optimized for fast, concurrent consumption by BI tools, applications, and AI agents

Data consumption

Processed data is made available to consuming applications through multiple channels:

  • Consumption API — a secure, scoped API that solution-specific applications use to query warehouse data, run actions, and access installation metadata without building their own data access layer
  • Direct warehouse access — via accelerated warehouses, queryable by BI tools, custom applications, and AI agents
  • MCP server — an MCP-compatible interface that allows AI workflow frameworks and agents to interact with the Consumption API using standard tool-use patterns

Who uses it

Aunsight Data Services is used by five types of practitioners:

Role What they do
Solution developer Builds and versions industry data solutions
Data engineer Configures pipelines, manages warehouses, and builds custom workloads
Solution implementer Installs and maps solutions for new clients
Support engineer Monitors solution health, troubleshoots issues, manages tasks
Solution consumer Accesses delivered data via APIs, BI tools, or custom applications
