Data tab¶
The Data tab is where you manage a custom project's data storage — its warehouses and the tables within them. It's the starting point for getting structured data into a custom project: you create warehouses here, define table schemas, ingest data, and explore the results.
What's on the Data tab¶
The Data tab lists the project's warehouses. Each row shows the Storage Name, the Storage Type (Local Warehouse, Remote Warehouse, or Accelerated Warehouse), and who created and last updated it. Use + Create Warehouse to add a new one, and click a warehouse name to open it.
For the different kinds of warehouse and when to use each, see Warehouses.
Working with warehouses and tables¶
Opening a warehouse gives you access to its settings, its tables, and the tools to define schema, ingest data, and explore what's stored. Because this interface is the same whether you reach it from a custom project or a solution project, it's documented in one place:
- Local Warehouse — the full warehouse and table interface: warehouse settings, managing tables, defining schema, ingesting data, exploring records, and publishing.
